For TriNet clients
TriNet already told the market your price is going up. Our job is to make sure it never lands on you.
On its own earnings calls, TriNet admitted health fee increases above 30 percent on underpriced accounts and called January 2026 the final major true-up. Its worksite employee count is down double digits. You are not imagining the squeeze.
Free. No obligation. We only get paid when you save.
Every number above is from TriNet's own filings and calls. That is the standard we hold ourselves to on this page.
The situation
What this means if you are on TriNet.
TriNet is repricing its book. The clients who stay without negotiating are the ones funding the true-up. Your window: TriNet clients overwhelmingly renew in January, letters land in the fall, and the contract moves on 30 days' notice. That makes late summer your leverage peak. The audit tells you whether to use it to leave or to push the increase back across the table.
What we check on a TriNet invoice: the true-up math against your claims profile, your admin fee against the band for your size, your health markup against filed rates, and the Bleed Index on your segment.
The destinations
Where TriNet clients land.
Companies leaving TriNet in the last two filing years show up across the certified-PEO tier and, above 100 employees, increasingly in self-administered setups with level-funded health. Route Finder scores both paths. Sometimes the answer is a different PEO. Sometimes it is no PEO. We get paid on one of those answers and we will still tell you the other one when it is true.
Is switching mid-contract painful?
TriNet moves on 30 days' notice either direction, which makes it one of the cleaner exits in the industry. Timing does the rest, and timing is our whole product.
Will our benefits gap?
No. Switches land on plan boundaries, coverage transfers like for like, and your people see side-by-side plan sheets before anything changes.
Is this free?
Yes. TriNet does not pay us. The receiving PEO does, and only if you move. If staying and negotiating is your best play, we say so and make nothing.
